Alpine Hearing KoneX

Alpine Hearing Protection is a global market leader in hearing protection. Its products are sold in many places, including in combination with concert tickets through partners such as Ticketmaster. For customers, that’s a logical combination. For the underlying logistics, however, it was anything but straightforward for a long time

Orders coming in via Ticketmaster could not be automatically forwarded to the fulfillment partner Active Ants. Not because the need wasn’t there, but because the chain was slowed down by a classic API barrier: systems that couldn’t directly work together, limited flexibility in the existing setup, and no simple standard route to automation.

The challenge Alpine Hearing Protection faced

When products are sold through an external sales platform like Ticketmaster, an automated order flow to fulfillment seems obvious. In practice, it proved otherwise.

There was no direct, workable integration between Ticketmaster and Active Ants for this order stream. As a result, orders had to be processed and forwarded manually. This took time, increased the risk of errors, and made the process unnecessarily complex.

On top of that, the different systems handled data in different ways. SKUs didn’t align, and international address data required additional validation. It was precisely this combination of technical and operational differences that made automation difficult.

So the real challenge wasn’t volume, but breaking through the integration barrier between systems that don’t naturally connect.

The Wish:

Alpine wanted a solution that would:

• Automatically retrieve orders from Ticketmaster
• Digitally forward orders to fulfillment partner Active Ants
• Automatically map different SKUs between systems
• Validate and split address data correctly for shipping
• Filter orders automatically based on country
• Replace manual processing with a stable, automated digital order flow

The Solution:

With the KoneX iPaaS platform, Alpine implemented a smart integration layer between Ticketmaster and Active Ants.

KoneX acts as the digital bridge between systems that don’t naturally communicate. Orders are automatically retrieved from Ticketmaster, then validated, enriched, and transformed by KoneX into a format that the fulfillment partner can process.

Several custom requests were implemented:

Address validation and splitting
KoneX validates address data and splits it where needed, ensuring shipping labels are generated correctly.

Order filtering by country
Orders are filtered based on predefined country rules, so only the correct ones proceed in the flow.

SKU mapping
Ticketmaster SKUs are automatically translated into the product codes used by Active Ants, ensuring the warehouse knows exactly what to process.

With this approach, KoneX enables automation precisely where standard integrations fall short and systems lack the flexibility to solve it directly.

The Result:

What was once manual and error-prone is now a fully digital order flow.

This delivers clear benefits for Alpine:

• Orders from Ticketmaster are processed automatically
• Orders are digitally forwarded to Active Ants
• Manual steps are significantly reduced
• The risk of errors in order processing is greatly minimized
• Differences in SKU structures and address data are automatically handled
• The logistics chain operates faster, more consistently, and more reliably

Thanks to KoneX, Alpine didn’t just implement an integration—they achieved a practical breakthrough in a chain where standard automation wasn’t a given.
