Innovation Kite is the Amsterdam-based product and innovation studio that designed, built and continues to develop the KoneX platform. Since its founding in 2012, the team has been building smart products that connect the e-commerce chain – from webshop to front door, from pixel to package. From offices in the Netherlands and Germany, Innovation Kite serves ambitious start-ups, scale-ups, professional SMEs and large multinationals.

Innovation Kite’s philosophy sums it up: “Digital Innovation is not about technology but about people.” Hence the combination of proprietary platforms, thoughtful modules ánd experienced consultants who shape the organization and the Data Journey in addition to the product.

Innovation Kite’s role within KoneX

KoneX is an independent business unit within Innovation Kite, with its own brand identity and roadmap. Innovation Kite simultaneously remains the designer, builder and owner of the KoneX platform. In practice, that means:

  • KoneX’s product roadmap – new connectors, platform enhancements, performance and security improvements – is determined and executed by the Innovation Kite engineering team.
  • All certified KoneX partners (such as InterraIT, Ferfier and others in this directory) operate on the platform provided by Innovation Kite.
  • KoneX customers with needs outside the standard KoneX functionality – for example, a data analysis track, a new web shop, or custom plug-ins – can work directly with Innovation Kite.

The KITE product family

KoneX is the best-known product, but not the only one. The full KITE portfolio includes:

  • KITE KoneX™ – the integration platform-as-a-service that connects web shops, ERP, WMS, marketplaces and accounting software in real time. Available in standard, KoneX-Enterprise and KoneXion versions (the latter as a plug-and-play solution for Exact Online and Shopify).
  • KITE Smart Stock Monitor™ – inventory management and monitoring solution that couples real-time inventory insight with automatic signaling and reorder logic.
  • KITE Publisher™ – reporting and publishing tool that converts data from internal systems into periodic reports for stakeholders or regulators.
  • KITE MultiSite™ – multi-site shopping platform for brands managing multiple shops in parallel (by country, by brand, by target group).

Services on top of the platform

In addition to software, Innovation Kite also provides hands-on services. For KoneX customers, the most requested are:

  • eCommerce Consulting – strategic advice from experienced specialists on platform selection, integration architecture and growth paths.
  • Data Journey Analysis – mapping how data flows through your organization, from the moment a customer lands on your web shop to billing and after-sales. The basis for every KoneX implementation.
  • Custom KoneX integrations – links to systems outside the standard connector library, built by the team creating the platform itself.
  • Web shop design and development – from design to go live, integrated with KoneX and the other KITE modules.
  • Custom software and plug-ins – extensions to KoneX or stand-alone tools developed on demand for specific business cases.
  • Innovation Kickstarter workshops – methodological sessions in which teams of customers and Innovation Kite jointly shape a digital initiative: problem, solution, roadmap.

Who does Innovation Kite work for?

  • Ambitious start-ups and scale-ups that want to scale quickly without getting stuck on IT links.
  • Professional SME that has multiple systems in the chain (web shop, ERP, WMS, marketplaces, accounting) and wants to put a single layer of region on top of them.
  • Large multinationals with complex multi-country, multi-brand or multi-system landscapes – KoneX-Enterprise + custom dev delivers the scalability.
  • Fulfilment and logistics service providers looking to access their customers via KoneX (Active Ants is a long-running customer and partner).
  • Government agencies and non-profits in need of reporting and data publication – for example, the Trimbos Institute through KITE Publisher.
  • Web shops for personalized products – references such as Van Bavel and Kick and Rush have set up their platforms through Innovation Kite.

Markets and partnerships

Innovation Kite operates out of the Netherlands and Germany, serving customers throughout Europe and beyond. Strategic technology partnerships include ChannelAdvisor’s official partner program (Rithum), which gives KoneX customers direct access to hundreds of marketplace links through a single commercial relationship.

When do you directly engage Innovation Kite?

Most KoneX implementation projects are through certified integration partners such as InterraIT. Direct contact with Innovation Kite makes sense if:

  • You want strategic advice on your e-commerce and data architecture before choosing technology (Data Journey Analysis, Innovation Kickstarter).
  • You are looking for a functionality that is not yet in KoneX and want to explore whether it can get on the roadmap.
  • You want to evaluate one of the other KITE products (Smart Stock Monitor, Publisher, MultiSite).
  • You want personalized or specialized webshop development where design, platform and fulfillment chain are developed in one hand.
  • You want a custom plug-in or industry-specific extension built by the team that maintains the platform itself.

KoneX is the heart of the ecosystem; Innovation Kite is the company that designs, builds and evolves that heart – with a broader range of products and services that go beyond the platform alone.

The platform operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the United Kingdom, serving customers across Europe and beyond through international carriers. DeliveryMatch enables cross-border shipping with automatic customs clearance, VAT calculation and country-specific pickup rules. Part of Katapull group

Since March 2025, DeliveryMatch has been part of the Katapull group, a collaboration between six leading software companies that together are building an ecosystem of integrated logistics solutions. This move strengthens DeliveryMatch’s offerings in terms of scalability, digital integration and cross-platform functionality.

Why connect DeliveryMatch through KoneX

DeliveryMatch sits between your order source and your carrier network; KoneX ensures that all relevant systems around DeliveryMatch synchronize in real time. Together, that means:

  • One real-time API link between your webshop, ERP and DeliveryMatch – no separate integrations per platform or per carrier.
  • Orders, inventory and returns flow automatically through your entire logistics chain, from checkout to returns portal.
  • Shipping rules can be driven based on data from multiple systems: inventory location (WMS), customer characteristics (CDP), pricing (ERP), CO₂ targets and sustainability policies.

Whether you have one webshop and are growing fast, or a multichannel portfolio with dozens of sales channels and multiple warehouses – DeliveryMatch gives you control over shipping costs, delivery times and sustainability through a single platform, and KoneX provides the clean linkage to your existing stack.

PostNL Fulfilment is the e-fulfilment service of PostNL N.V. – the publicly traded Dutch postal and parcel company that has been in business since 1946 and, with more than 32,000 employees, operates the largest delivery network in the Netherlands and Belgium. For growing e-commerce brands, PostNL Fulfilment combines two automated fulfillment centers – Houten for regular webshops and West-Zaan for the food sector – with PostNL’s own delivery and direct links to marketplaces such as Bol and Amazon. One party for storage, order processing, shipping and returns, with the scale and reliability of the Netherlands’ largest parcel carrier.

Two specialized fulfillment centers

Houten – largest AutoStore in the Benelux

The fulfillment center in Houten is an automated 17,000 m² distribution center running on an AutoStore system with 42 robots, 21,000 bins and 6 pick stations – the largest automated AutoStore installation in a fulfillment center in the Benelux. Pick-to-Light and advanced WMS automation ensure consistent picking speeds and low error margins, also at peak volumes (Black Friday, Sinterklaas, Christmas). Houten is intended for regular webshops in fashion, electronics, beauty, health and other non-food categories.

West Zaan – specializing in food

The second fulfillment center in West Zaan is set up specifically for the food sector, with temperature-controlled areas and processes tailored to THT monitoring and food safety. Suitable for specialty foods, supplements and similar product categories that fall outside the standard non-food warehouse.

End-to-end fulfillment chain

PostNL Fulfilment covers the complete logistics chain from inbound to end customer:

  • Inbound and warehousing – suppliers deliver products directly to the distribution center, where they are received, checked and placed in the AutoStore system.
  • Order processing – automated order picking via 42 robots and Pick-to-Light, with a late cut-off of 11:59 pm. Orders received before midnight are processed the same night for shipment the next business day.
  • Packaging – standard or in your corporate style, including packing slip, return form and any accompanying documents.
  • Shipping – within the Netherlands and Belgium via our own PostNL delivery network; internationally via selected local carriers per country.
  • Returns – integrated return flow with PostNL as return address, assessment, re-stocking and reporting.

Integrations with web shops and marketplaces

PostNL Fulfilment has direct IT links to common e-commerce platforms and marketplaces:

  • Web shops – standard links to popular web shop platforms for order nesting, inventory synchronization and track-and-trace feedback.
  • Marketplaces – direct integrations with Bol and Amazon, among others, so that marketplace orders automatically enter the same fulfillment flow as webshop orders.
  • ERP and accounting – links for inventory, order and invoice synchronization to your back office.

Who is PostNL Fulfilment suitable for?

  • Webshops with at least 10,000 orders per year – the minimum requirement for warehousing and order fulfillment through PostNL Fulfilment. Below that volume, other fulfillment partners in this directory are a better fit.
  • Brands that prioritize scale and reliability – publicly traded PostNL provides operational continuity and SLA stability befitting larger e-commerce brands.
  • Multichannel retailers with Bol and Amazon sales – direct marketplace links enable multichannel fulfillment through one fulfillment party.
  • Food brands and supplement web shops – that specific food facility in West Zaan requires temperature and THT monitoring, available through PostNL Fulfilment but rare with standard 3PL parties.
  • Webshops shipping NL-only or Benelux-only – directly linked to the PostNL delivery network for the most competitive last-mile costs and delivery times within the Benelux.

About PostNL N.V.

PostNL N.V. was founded in 1946 (formerly TNT N.V., after splitting the international arm), is headquartered in The Hague and is listed on Euronext Amsterdam (ticker PNL). With more than 32,000 employees, PostNL operates the largest mail and parcel delivery network in the Benelux. PostNL Fulfilment is the e-commerce fulfillment arm of this group and shares operational infrastructure (sorting, transport, last-mile) with the broader PostNL parcel service – giving fulfillment customers direct access to priority capacity and SLA certainty.

Markets

PostNL Fulfilment primarily serves the Dutch and Belgian markets from its two fulfillment centers in Houten and West Zaan, with international shipping to Europe and beyond through partnerships with local carriers on a country-by-country basis. The combined NL+BE coverage through PostNL’s own delivery network is the strongest differentiating feature within the Benelux fulfillment market.

Why link PostNL Fulfilment through KoneX?

PostNL Fulfilment provides the physical fulfillment operation and delivery network; KoneX provides the clean digital link to your existing stack. Together, that means:

  • One API integration between your webshop or ERP and PostNL Fulfilment – orders, inventory and return status flow in real time, without building separate connectors.
  • Marketplace orders from Bol, Amazon and other channels you have connected through KoneX automatically enter the same PostNL fulfillment flow as webshop orders.
  • Stock-sync across multiple channels – PostNL Fulfilment is the single source of truth for your inventory; KoneX ensures that all sales channels see it in real time.
  • Quick onboarding – no months of IT work; one KoneX link activates PostNL Fulfilment within the existing KoneX framework.

Whether you are a D2C brand that has reached the scale to move on to enterprise fulfillment, a multichannel retailer with Bol and Amazon sales, or a food web shop that needs temperature-controlled storage – PostNL Fulfilment provides the operational base with the scale and delivery network of the Netherlands’ largest parcel carrier, and KoneX provides the seamless link to your sales stack.

Dimass is a Dutch full-service fulfillment company with physical offices in five European countries. From its headquarters in Haelen, Limburg – in the heart of the Euregion, with Germany at 20 and Belgium at 10 minutes by car – and local fulfillment centers in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Sweden, Dimass has been providing the complete fulfillment chain for B2C and B2B web shops since 2012: from inbound and storage to picking, packing, shipping and return handling. With the slogan “the other fulfillment company”, Dimass sets itself apart through personal guidance (fixed contact person per customer), its own warehouse management software (SupportPlaza) and an automated packing robot.

The fulfillment chain from A to Z

Inbound and inbound logistics

The process begins with the receipt and inspection of incoming goods. Upon inbound, Dimass registers the delivered products and assigns them a storage location in the warehouse – within hours they are visible in SupportPlaza in real time. Inbound logistics goes further: Dimass can plan and coordinate the entire logistics process of sea, air and road transport for you, including customs clearance, VAT and import duties for imports from outside the EU. One party for the entire process from manufacturer to warehouse.

Storage and inventory management

Dimass offers different types of storage locations for single items to complete pallets, under the right conditions. The company is SKAL-certified for the storage of organic raw materials, semi-finished and finished products. Real-time stock visibility and automatic notifications at minimum stock levels are standard via SupportPlaza.

Picking, packing and Louis Carton

An experienced team processes orders with FIFO management and best-before date monitoring. Packaging can be with standard material or completely in your corporate style, including packing slip, return form, invoice and any cover letter.

For scale and sustainability, Dimass has introduced “Louis Carton” – an intelligent packaging robot that cuts and folds a box to size per order. That means: higher throughput, less cardboard use, more packages per transport and therefore fewer trips and lower CO₂ emissions. The robot also filters out picking errors from the process.

Shipping

Through a network of reputable transportation partners, Dimass delivers worldwide – European daily, and even within 24 hours to the United States where necessary. Packages that fall outside the standard dimensions of regular delivery services are delivered via our own delivery service within the Netherlands and Flanders.

Returns

Dimass has its own returns department with local return addresses in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Returned products are assessed according to a pre-arranged RMA/DOA procedure; customers can even assess returns based on photos via SupportPlaza.

Customization and contract work

For needs beyond standard order processing, Dimass offers contract work: from bulk-to-sets, assembled gift boxes and corporate gifts, to inserting manuals or attaching European plugs to electronic equipment.

SupportPlaza – proprietary multilevel WMS

SupportPlaza is Dimass’ in-house developed warehouse management system. Web-based, available on PC, smartphone and tablet, with a visual dashboard that shows in real time: new orders, open backorders, scheduled inbound shipments, current stock levels, returns to be handled and shipped orders – right down to the signature for receipt. Two linking tools make integration easy: the 3S tool connects SupportPlaza with your webshop and the Snelstart accounting program, and SAS links webshop, Afas accounting and SupportPlaza for (start-up) entrepreneurs. There are also various possibilities to exchange data with your own software.

The pallet hotel – shared warehousing

Dimass offers a unique warehousing concept they call “pallet hotel”: shared warehousing between web shops and manufacturers/suppliers of branded products. Web shops gain access to hard-to-buy branded products without financing stock themselves; manufacturers activate new online sales channels through the Dimass network. Dimass is the link between supply and demand, resulting in considerable efficiency gains and cost savings.

Dimass Media – one-stop shopping

In addition to fulfillment, Dimass also offers services in the chain before that through Dimass Media: webshop development, customized landing pages, online marketing (SEO, SEA, content marketing, Google Shopping, remarketing) and customized links between your webshop, accounting software and SupportPlaza. A single point of contact for the complete e-commerce chain – from first click to delivery.

Offices in 5 European countries

Dimass is distinguished by physical fulfillment centers in each of its main markets – no referral to subcontractors, but its own operational teams under one brand:

  • Dimass Group & Dimass Media – Haelen, the Netherlands (headquarters)
  • Dimass Belgium – Dilsen-Stokkem, Belgium
  • Dimass Germany – Niederkrüchten, Germany
  • Dimass Finland – Vantaa, Finland
  • Dimass Sweden – Alingsås, Sweden

The combination of Benelux + DACH-west + Nordics in one fulfillment party is an exceptional footprint within the European market.

Who is Dimass suitable for

  • D2C web shops with European growth ambitions that want to bring inventory closer to international end customers without contracting on a country-by-country basis.
  • Food supplement, wellness and organic brands that require SKAL certification, FIFO and expiration date monitoring.
  • Brands with medical, personal care or dry food products that require specialized handling and batch tracking.
  • Web shops that have difficulty sourcing branded products – through the pallet hotel concept, Dimass opens access to deliverable stock without its own procurement investments.
  • Multichannel retailers who sell through marketplaces and want to leverage Dimass’ Channel Engine Gold Partner integration.
  • Brands that require order processing until 11:59 p.m. for late orders that need to go to the carrier the same day.

Why connect Dimass through KoneX

Dimass is the physical and operational link between your webshop and your end customer in five European countries; KoneX provides the clean digital link between your sales stack and SupportPlaza. Together that means:

  • One API integration between your webshop or ERP and SupportPlaza – orders, stock levels, shipping status and returns flow in real time, regardless of the Dimass warehouse from which the shipment originates.
  • Multi-warehouse routing – automatic routing to the Dimass warehouse closest to your end customer for faster delivery and lower shipping costs.
  • Specialty metadata (lot numbers, expiration dates, SKAL-relevant fields) stays synchronized between your product database and SupportPlaza, without manual input.
  • Fast onboarding – no months of IT process per Dimass branch; one KoneX link activates all 5 countries at once.

Whether you want to expand your NL web shop with local Swedish fulfillment, are a supplement brand that requires SKAL compliance, or are looking for a scalable fulfillment partner that also offers web shop development and accounting links – Dimass provides the operational base, and KoneX provides the seamless connection to your sales stack.

Returnless is the Eindhoven-based software platform that gives e-commerce brands complete control over the entire returns process – from digital returns form to analysis and prevention. More than 1,500 European web shops use Returnless to handle returns faster, reduce costs and prevent future returns. Since January 2025, Returnless is part of JTL-Software, the German e-commerce software group with more than 50,000 merchants in the DACH region – Returnless continues to operate as an independent entity with its own brand, team and product roadmap.

The Returnless suite

The platform combines eight product modules into one integrated return solution:

  • Digital Return Form – a customizable, branded return form in your own branding. Customers upload photos, answer dynamic follow-up questions and get an instant personalized recommendation (refund, exchange or store credit) without contacting customer service.
  • Return Rules – a rules engine with more than 50 conditions that automatically decides how to handle each return request: approve, deny, offer alternative, or escalate. Makes 90% of returns a touchless flow.
  • Return Portal – a central dashboard for your customer service with customizable views and filters so the team can pick up exceptions quickly without scrolling through thousands of orders.
  • Return Analytics – data insights on return rates by product, SKU, customer segment and reasons. The basis for product improvement, photography adjustment or sizing advice – anything that helps prevent returns altogether.
  • Coupons & Store Credit – automatic generation of coupon codes as an alternative to refund, to keep sales within your shop. Increases customer lifetime value.
  • Automations – trigger-based actions such as automatic refunds through your PSP, status updates to the customer and coupon code dispatch at the right time in the return flow.
  • Exchanges – quickly exchange for another size, color or variant, with reusable coupon codes and direct order flow to your WMS.
  • Shipping Solutions – links to multiple carriers and shipping methods so that returns return to your warehouse via the correct label and pickup point.

Integrations – 35+ links

Returnless has standard links to the common links in the e-commerce chain:

  • CMS and e-commerce platforms – Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Lightspeed, Shopware and other web shop systems.
  • WMS and fulfillment – links to major warehouse management systems and fulfillment platforms to place returns directly into the inbound flow of your warehouse.
  • Shipping and logistics – direct links to carriers and shipping platforms for label generation and pickup.
  • Marketplaces – synchronization of marketplace returns to the same rule engine as your webshop returns.
  • Headless returns – an API layer that allows you to embed Returnless in a fully custom frontend without using the standard returns form.

Part of JTL Software

As of Jan. 7, 2025, Returnless is part of JTL-Software, founded in 2008 in Hückelhoven, Germany, and with more than 50,000 e-commerce merchants and 500+ partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For Returnless, the acquisition means access to the broad JTL network and investment in product development, while continuing to operate independently with its own brand, customers and culture. For existing Returnless customers, nothing changes operationally; for new customers, it means more power behind the roadmap and broader integration opportunities within the JTL ecosystem.

Burden of proof and certification

  • 1,500+ European e-commerce brands use Returnless every day.
  • ISO 27001 certified for enterprise-level information security – required by larger clients and in regulated industries.
  • Thuiswinkel Business Partner – accredited member of the Dutch e-commerce trade association.
  • Deloitte Fast 50 – recognized as one of the fastest growing tech companies in the Netherlands.

Who is Returnless suitable for

  • Fashion, shoes and accessories – sectors with the highest return rates (30 – 50%+), where rule automation and analytics have an immediate measurable effect on margin.
  • Electronics, beauty and lifestyle – categories with DOA claims, warranty returns and serial number tracking, where Return Rules automate complex handling.
  • Multichannel retailers who sell through both their own webshop and marketplaces and want one return flow for both channels.
  • D2C brands that scale up and don’t want their customer service team to grow proportionately – touchless return flows make that possible.
  • Webshops using headless commerce – the Headless Returns API allows embedding in a custom frontend.
  • International brands in NL, BE and DACH – with the JTL acquisition, Returnless has additional clout in the German market and direct access to JTL merchants.

Markets

Returnless primarily serves the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the broader DACH region (DE, AT, CH), with a growing customer base in other European markets through its JTL integration. The platform is available in Dutch, English and German, giving consumers in each of the main markets a local return experience.

Why link Returnless through KoneX?

Returnless provides the returns data layer; KoneX provides the clean digital link to your existing stack. Together, that means:

  • One API link between your webshop, ERP, WMS and Returnless – order history, stock info and customer data are available directly in the rules engine without separate data feeds.
  • Marketplace returns (Bol, Amazon) connected through KoneX automatically enter the same Returnless flow as your webshop returns – one rule engine for all channels.
  • Refund actions from Returnless automatically trigger credit notes in your accounting software through KoneX links, without manual entries.
  • Quick onboarding – no months of IT work; one KoneX link activates Returnless within the existing KoneX framework.

Whether you are a fashion brand with 40% return rate that you want to reduce step by step, a multichannel retailer that wants marketplace and webshop returns in one stream, or a scaling D2C player that wants to reduce customer service touchpoints – Returnless provides the platform, and KoneX provides the seamless link to your sales stack.
