When the fulfilment fit is right, but the integration isn’t

Onboarding fulfilment customers may seem straightforward when the commercial and operational fit is already there. The volumes work, the rates have been agreed and the processes align.

Then comes the question: how are we going to connect everything?

An unfamiliar ERP. A non-standard order process. An API that doesn’t connect directly. Or customer-specific requirements that don’t belong in the fulfilment partner’s WMS or in the customer’s systems.

That’s where a promising deal can suddenly become complicated.

What if you asked that question earlier?

When onboarding fulfilment customers, connectivity often only comes up once a deal is already well underway or even closed. Yet discussing it earlier in the sales process makes it clear what is needed and what opportunities this creates.

This isn’t about technical knowledge of APIs or integrations. It’s about making connectivity part of the sales conversation early enough to better qualify opportunities, identify technical challenges sooner and say “yes” to a prospect with greater confidence.

In the whitepaper Accelerating Fulfilment Sales, we show how connectivity can become a commercial advantage: onboard customers faster, generate revenue sooner, support more customer environments and grow with less risk.

What if the integration question isn’t a problem to solve after the deal, but becomes part of winning the deal?
